We started growing flowers in 2010 and our gardens are still small, with less than an acre planted. We grow flowers that can’t be bought at the wholesale market simply because of the things we celebrate in them; their bendy stems, their variability in colour and shape, the hints of the changing colours of the seasons. We grow lengths of climbing clematis and sweet peas, shrubs with scented foliage, delicate roses. We forage wild grasses, ferns and branches of lush fresh foliage from hedgerows and woodlands.
Our garden and the surrounding landscape have always been the greatest inspiration to us and the first spark for every arrangement. We believe that capturing the shapes, colours, textures, character; the “mood” of each season; is what stirs something in all of us, what connects us to the natural world.
We specialise in flowers for weddings and parties, with arrangements that reflect both the season and the beauty of the natural environment. Alongside produce from our own garden, for weddings and larger events we also buy from a number of small growers and farms. From March to October we source as much of this as we can from the increasing number of Irish flower growers and are always on the lookout for new suppliers of interesting seasonal ingredients.
